What happened on the first cold weekend in NC...

is that I cranked out four scarves while sitting in my apt, shivering.

You're like me, I have been knitting some of my heavier items because they keep me warm! The only thing I like about cold weather is that this is when I crochet and knit. I go into hibernation. Yuck, it is just the beginning.

The funky one is two strands of yarn, one Berella 4 and the other this fun yarn from Moda Dea called Wild! (The exclamation point is important, evidently.) Just double crochets with that yarn combination.

 

The Rosy one is made from Paton's Divine and it's just doubles too.

 

I really think that, in the case of simple scarves, that yarn choice is the most important factor.
