yarn I dyed

Well, last weekend we were spoiled with an 80degree heat-wave (yes, the same weekend that Wyoming got snow). So I spoiled myself and found my almost empty cone of white peaches and creme, and "spray-dyed" it. The color and subtle variegations don't show up very accurately..but it's a faded purple denim color, kinda lavendery. I think I have about 2 oz there. (The rest I dyed back in september, some of which turned into socks)

the picture is pretty small so I cant see it well. I've always wanted to dye my own yarn.

what do you use for dying your yarn

namffoc: Guess I should save my pictures a little bigger in photobucket.

Cher and Pumpkinmouse: Actually I used Dylon fabric dye...found it in Walmart (1.97) by the tiedye stuff, or in Hobby Lobby by the fabric stuff (2.97 there). I put some of the powder into a spray bottle (from the travel size stuff in w.m. ( by the toothpaste etc) and use it that way. Works pretty well.
