I used to live in Pella, Iowa. We've sinced moved back to the Kansas City area, but we're up there a lot to visit my husband's family in Des Moines and Newton.

Yes, Hobby Lobby is pretty cool, we have a Hancocks here too and a localy owned yarn store that has more 'high-end' yarns that are absolutely divine!!

My son is in school at Pella. I have a good friend in Kansas City. And I have family in Des Moines.

 

In Fairfield we have a High End yarn selection... Oh, my. It's a big splurge to me to order from Smiley's.
