Dear friend lost his father... I have enough squares, THANKS!!!

A very near and dear friend of mine's father passed away and I would love to send him a comfortghan. I would like to make it out of "manly" colors so blues, greys, etc. Just nothing too bright or anything "girlie-ish". I'd like to do 12" squares and I'm aiming for the middle of November at the latest if possible.

 

Please PM me and I'll give you my addy. You do not have to weave in the final end if you don't wish as I always use an assembly method which starts with a standard SC around the entire square and I can work it in that way. Just thought I'd let you know.

 

On a side note I want to say a big THANK YOU to the entire Crochetville Community as a whole for how wonderful and generous everyone is. Everytime I've needed squares or anything everyone always seems to help out. I'm a member on several different crochet and other craft related boards and none can come close to the feeling of family that is felt here.

 

Edited to add: I now have enough squares promised to me. Thank you to everyone who contacted me. Thank you so much for your generosity! My friend will be very surprised and I'm sure it will comfort him when he receives it!

Donna, I had some extra time last night after my FA goal was met and managed to get one square done for you in blue. I may be able to get them to you sooner than Nov. Got your PM. What other colors besides blue and gray? Would black, brown, dark green be OK?

Thanks Evelyn and Dawn! I got your squares today! For those of you who can't send to me until November, that's perfectly fine. Just send them when you can! Since he doesn't know anything about this I'm not in a huge rush. I'm personally aiming for the middle of November so that I can get it to him before Christmas since we live in different states.

Did you know that you can not use the white PM packages turned wrongside out anymore? I have always reused any envelopes that i receive just by turning them wrong side out. saves on the waste a little bit longer:)

 

well friday I was informed that i can not use the priory envelopes like this unless I still want to pay the $4.80 rate!! Like NOT!! but i still do not see anything wrong with it after it has already been used!!

 

anyway I am repacking a couple of packages so will get in the mail this week. sorry for the delay
