Halloween Sweatshirt-Cross Stitch

I finished this a few weeks ago and have started another Halloween sweatshirt. Taking a break from crochet, but will get back to it as the weather is getting cooler. Thanks for lookin'!

That is great! I used to do the sweatshirts and tshirts with xstitch all the time.

 

I may get back into it as I'm sure there are new patterns out there.

Thanks everyone! I stopped in a nearby Stitch store and found a ton of things I wanted to do! I needed more black floss, and found a smaller hoop(which I could never find in the craft stores) and a Halloween book for $5!! It's cute, has 4 cross stitch patterns in it. I only planned on spending at the most 3 dollars, and ended up spending $12! My bad!

Did you know there's now a water soluble waste canvas? I've always wanted to try something like this but never did because I didn't think I could take picking the waste canvas out thread by thread. Now I'm thinking I might have to give it a try.

 

This is great, and the pattern stands out nicely on the blue shirt.

I use to get soooo mad pulling the waste canvas out, but found out that I had made the canvas to wet and it was breaking under my stitches. But now I have it down and have no problem.

I didn't know that there was a water soluble canvas. I just have the ordinary stitch, then pull out. It has been a very long time since I did any sweatshirts. I have had one on a hoop for oh about 15 years Its a wolf and what was I thinking - in 7 count thead not 10 nooo the little tiny x's and of course in all dark colors (dark sweatshirt) dark wolf.

 

I bit off more than I could chew with this one.
