This Luscious book by Jean Leinhauser & Rita Weiss is certainly the cat's meow, if you will excuse an elderly lady's terminology.

It has wearables, baby things, afghans, accessories, and all in one book.

Kudos to Jean and Rita. I highly recommend this book and I used a 40% off coupon to get it, so it was very much in my budget.

I love double knit, and there were plenty of patterns for that, as well as novelty, worsted, sport, cotton, and even fingering (hard to find those patterns).

Someone probably lauded this book before me, but I wasn't reading through a thousand threads to find out.

Just needed to say hurray and thanks for the great patterns.

I have an afghan book by them, but this attracted me because of the variety and how attractive the wearables were. Especially to make things for grandchildren...

I'm happy that they have a loyal following, and even happier to become a fan myself...

I also have that book. I do have quite a bit of books by Jean Leinhauser and Rita Weiss, some dating back to the mid 80's. And when I questioned something in a book by Jean Leinhauser, she was nice enough to e mail back with her answer.

 

They have wonderful patterns.
