Breast Cancer scarves

On another group I belong to, our September challenge was to make pink items for Breast Cancer awareness. Here are my items. Just some scarves.

I'm not going to donate the scarves themselves, no. I am going to take them to work and auction them off, the money going to The Susan G. Komen organization.

I think it may be the one skein scarf pattern from the Stitch & Bitch crochet book.

Love it, love the idea too. My mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and originally (biopsy stated non invasive) She had a lumpectomy and a node biopsy last week and the results were good and bad. Good all the cancer was removed with the lumpectomy - bad one of the nodes removed was positive for "a" cancer cell. So, we have been doing a lot of footwork trying to be more proactive with the awareness this October and I'm looking for ideas to make for her and for others.

 

I actually had not thought about a scarf so that would be super nice and relatively quick and easy to make as well. Thanks. Great job!
