Does anyone have issues with using a count of 13 in a pattern? Or are crocheters not superstitious, they just don't crochet black cats or ladders.

I think you may have to cross crocheting black cats off your list!

I can't believe many people would be superstitious enough to object to a repeat of of 13 or whatever, any more than to a "row 13."

Normally I don't think about it. But I was making a scarf for a friend and ended up with thirteen rows. I added an extra row to make sure I wouldn't be giving her bad luck. Kind of silly, but oh well.

I'm not really superstitious. I don't consider the number 13 unlucky at all. If the pattern works best with 13 stiches or rows then that's what I use.

I had never thought about that before so I guess I'm not superstitious...hehe
