**NEW UPDATE**Bookmarks I made for the Kids :)

I added links to the patterns that are available for free as well as some notes on the ones that I made my own changes (I can never leave a pattern alone LOL)...

Oh... and I used 100% ww cotton for all of them.

These are some bookmarks I made for KristieMN's toy drive. All images are clickable.

 

Winged Dragon

I added to the tail to make it a longer bookmark...

Froggy w/tongue

I adjusted the pattern a bit. I made the eyes smaller to accomodate the size of the safety eyes I had on hand. I also created a backing to hide the backs of the safety eyes to protect the fingers, etc...

Turtle

I made the turtle and dinosaur by copying a picture I found on the net.

EDIT: Cupcake/Crochetroo has the patterns in her Etsy shop... I didn't follow her patterns exactly as I was using a picture I had found on Flickr as a guide, plus I was using WW cotton and didn't want them to be too big. It wasn't until after I had made them that I was told by my DD that the patterns were available.

I didn't do the tail the same as the pattern... instead of adding the curlie end I just slip stitched back up the chain... I thought the boys might not like the "girlie" curls. LOL
