Mellow Moods Brimmed Hat

Our daughter was home for the summer and asked me to make her this hat from "Get Your Crochet On! Hip Hats & Cool Caps" by Afya Ibomu.

 

I forgot to post this, it was finished so she could go to the beach with it before she left in August.

 

As the case with many of my hats, it's a "one-off". I changed it a bit from the original design. She wanted a wider brim, which I'm not totally happy with, but she is, so it's her's now.

Lovely hat! Great book..I want to make some of the bun covers, and I'd love to try to make a Queen. My hair is very long and I like it off my neck in warm weather.
