Question
gingerchai
I have finally decided to make a sweater, but am having a terrible time with the gauge swatch. . The pattern calls for Lion Brand Wool-Ease Sportweight, but I want to use a 100% wool yarn. Every swatch that I make curls up and the gauge is always off. I keep on changing the hook size (smaller) to no avail. I even tried a fingering weight yarn and that swatch curled too . I was finally glad to find a sweater pattern that was both easy and attractive, but i know i have to get the gauge right before beginning the sweater. I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer .
