In this pattern it starts off with chain any multiple of 5 to desired width of afghan. What does this mean? :thinking2

It means that you can choose how wide you want your afghan to be. Your chain must be a multiple of 5 (example - 55, 75, 115, 200) so that the pattern (which must repeat itself in a series of 5 stitches) comes out even.
