Socks!!!! Hand-dyed yarn, free pattern on C'ville!

I made these socks for my daughter's recent 15th birthday. The yarn is 100% wool sock yarn that I bought on Ebay.co.uk last year--it's actually hand-dyed in South America, according to the label. The colors are so perfect for my daughter, and worked up beautifully in "Sonny's socks" pattern, a free pattern in the original patterns section here on Crochetville. I did make the leg part of my sock longer than the pattern calls for. This is the second time I've used that pattern, and I really like the socks it makes.

I just LOVE your socks!!! Great yarn & love the pattern & the fit. I spend alot of my time making socks & slipper socks for myself & my family. I can't stand elastic at the top, so it's great to be able some that I can actually wear & it's always fun to see how they'll turn out.
