Thanks everyone! I actually got the idea from a couple of pattern books from Maggie's Crochet called Holiday Afghans I & II. Instead of making the afghans I saw pillows. I was really happy how it turned out.

 

My next one will be either a Halloween or a Thanksgiving one I think.

Awesome! It really looks nice.....You said instead of afghan squares you saw pillows well, when it came to mile-a-minute afghan strips I saw winter scarves. Great minds think alike!
