Another Cell Phone Cozy

Recommended Posts

Here are my two versions of Crochet Monkey's Pattern

For this one I used Lopi that I dye in kool aid

I added the carabiner (a repelling hook) that clamps on the belt loop. Ideally I would have liked a smaller one, but couldn't find the one I wanted to use..so I used this one for picture purposes.

This one was made using Fisherman's wool that we also dyed with kool aid. (both cozy's were made using scraps left over from previous projects)

The pattern worked up great and was easy to do. I made one while my kids ate lunch and the other while they swam outside yesterday. It took longer to full them to stitch both of them. Not sure if it was my yarn choices or becuase I tend to stitch tightly, the stitch definition was still there after several washings but all in all, I like the pattern.

Thank you once again for testing the pattern. Both the cozies look excellent.

Cool cozies Kimberly (try saying that ten times fast). It's so funny, with one pattern, how we all had different ideas of what we wanted it to look like.

I like your cozies, Kimberly. I had originally thought to do mine in blue & teal stripe then I decided to see how the pattern worked up first. I really like the stripes and how you used the clip to attach it to things.

Awesome! I LOVE the colors! And the way you have it hooked on your belt is a great idea!
