Victorian Thread Holder ** Updated with pictures**

I found this UFO of a victorian thread holder that my MIL ? had started. I have made two in the past. So I finished the holder. :cheer

The pattern is from a Fast & Fun Crochet Summer 2000 issue page 18. (This publication is now Hooked on Crochet. I had originally bought a kit from Annie's Attic and the mag. came with the kit.)

I used Susan Bates steel 4 with Susan Bates sonata 301 Daffodil. The holder used slightly over one skein (50g 100% creslan acrylic fiber).

Yes. I like it for the tatting and DMC Cebelia threads. I prefer to use the little 1/2 plastic rings to crochet around instead of the bigger 1 rings. This is because it is less likely a tatting ball will fall out of the hole when it is near the end of the ball.
