im going to spin some friends dogs hair but its short so ill mix it with wool.my question is-how exactly do i mix it in?just sprinkle it on top?

If you have hand carders, layer the fur equally with wool and comb it togther.

If you don't have carders you can try pet slicker brushes.

I'd start with a 50/50 blend carded together. Spin a little and if you like the results, go with that. Otherwise, change the ratio and repeat. Keep notes so you can replicate what you like.

All mammals have some sort of hair covering some, much, or virtually all of their bodies. The hair on some animals is known as fur, but it's all the same no matter the name. Hair is made of the protein keratin and dead epidermal, or skin, cells and it grows from follicles in the inner layer of the skin. Some Dogs are having cool hair, better to cut from that to mix it with wool.
