I am not julee but I am almost sure she is still needing squares:)

 

Right you are!! Still need quite a few more squares. I have one ghan almost completely done. Took an hour today and matched the squares up according to the stitch count on one side and then started stitching one of the sets together. It's fun and it's looks really nice.

 

 

Do you still need more squares?

Julee, I was organizing my yarn stash and found a 12" square in red and white. I can't remember what I originially was going to use it for. LOL I'd be happy to send it to you if you give me your address.

I have an afghan finished for you and will mail out tomorrow. I just want to tidy up the threads and I'm still thinking of doing a reverse single crochet around the board to finish it off. I'll be done tonight!

Yes they did, Just a while ago. Sorry, things have been so hectic around here the past few days. Family just left and things are finally settling down (somewhat).

I was hoping to do a whole blanket for you but I just can't find the time right now and i know you need these as quick as you can get them!!

Just got it stepped on by my horse. I'm kinda a bit of a hick in ways. I do almost everything barefoot including riding my horse. That's on top of riding her bareback. Just makes it more exciting. Anyways, she got spooked and stepped on my right foot. Made a nice dent but no broken bones though. I think I'm pretty lucky that she's only 700 pounds and not 1000 pounds.

 

5 squares will help tremendously. Just don't do anymore than you can handle. You've already got your hands full with the afghans for the seniors!!

 

I'm thinking another 50 or so but I may be a little off.

The afghan should have gotten there already, but since I forgot to put a card in the box, you may be wondering who it is from or for what. Anyways, here is a picture of the finished ghan for this cause:

Hi Cindy, Just got on to post that I had recieved the afghan. Got it on Saturday but I totally forgot to post it (that's what happens when my family rushes me. Oh well.Gotta love 'em).

 

It's so pretty!! Love all of the colors and the way you put them together!! Great job!! Thanks so much!!

Have 2 done and since I have the house to my self today (really rare) I plan on getting 1 or 2 more put together. YAY!!

Just wanted to let you know that I recieved your beautiful squares in the mail day before yesterday (actually, didn't see it till yesterday. My sis forgot to tell me that I had a grocery bag full of packages-well 3 small packages.).

As soon as my life get's a little less mucky I'm gonna get full steam back on the blankets again. I've been working on them whenever I'm not to bogged down with everything that's going on (not even getting out of the house that much, just alot of family drama. Usually I'd say not a big deal but when my dad starts talking about just selling the house and divorcing my mom that gets hard to handle. Just to much rotten stuff like that going on.

 

Anyways, no excuse. I'm gonna start laying out some more of the squares tomorrow and put a few more blankets together.

Hi, I am a little behind updating the count on the first page (well, really behind actually) but I just added Cindy's ghan to the count though. There are a few squares that I don't know who to list under but I'll still add them to the count. Somethings got jumbled up when I was moving out to my ten a month ago.

 

Thanks for the help Sissie!! I really, sincerely do appreciate it!!

 

The main thing I need right now is just prayers for our family. I'm the only one my parents vent to about this stuff so I just have a huge load to carry on my shoulders right now and I don't know what to do with it.

It's hard being the monkey in the middle between 2 grown adults when I'm still trying to grow too and having tons of my own problems.

Yikes, anyway, that's just part of why everything is a mess right now. I can tell you one thing though, the ville is the only place where I know I can come to everyday and get cheered up and just take a break from my problems. I really value this forum!!

you are in my prayers, I wish there was something i could say to help but I have never been in your shoes. thank the lord my parents have been together for 48 years and I have never had to be in the middle of anything as I have never even heard them fight!! I have had a blessed life thank the lord
