Lilac University Scarf/Hat set for DD

DD will be starting University this fall. So she wanted me to make her some scarf/hat sets for the long walks on campus. She picked out this yarn called Lilac Lame' by patons. I had never used this type of yarn before. It was a dollar tree find. It took (4) 1.75 oz. for the scarf which I knitted,(dd requested knit for the scarf) and 2 for the hat which I crocheted much faster than knitting:yay. because I am sllllllloooow at knitting, and not very good at it .Thanks for looking and have a great day.
