one stop shop for teaching rescources?

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I will be teaching an Adult Ed crochet course in a few days and was wondering if there was a single place to get all the basic stuff, that is approved for teaching - or not copywrited, or...whatever. Like, somewhere that allows you to print off N amount of pages detailing the basic stitches, and how to do them. Maybe it even has a couple of written "especially for teaching crochet" patterns?

I've looked, but I haven't found any. I can't find the CYCA page that is meant to have the certificate for students who have 'completed' a course either. :s

Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a link that I think will get you started,

http://www.eachoneteachtwo.com/crochet.html

I linked here because there is a chance for teachers to enter a drawing on this page :)

If you click on the "here", it takes you to a page with some stitch illustrations, teaching hints and a link to a beginner pattern, as well as a pdf file which is a certificate for the students (at the very bottom of the page).

I assume it is OK to copy parts of that page to pass out to your class, because that's what it's supposed to be for (class materials).

Good luck!
