I like both, but I like crocheting more than knitting because:

It's easier to put down in a hurry, if you need to.

You don't have to worry about dropping a stitch.

It's faster.

Less cumbersome (one hook vs. two needles).

I don't know how to knit. I haven't run out of things to crochet yet and I haven't yet gotten the desire to learn knitting. Someday maybe, but for now, I'm happy with just one hook :lol

I like crocheting ......it's what I live for! I learned how to knit first but knitting seems to take forever to do. I love making novelty items and crochet seems to work the best.

I'm the classic blonde (I understand geologic plate techtonics ... but don't ask me what I said five minutes ago ... LOL!) ... so, using ONE hook instead of TWO needles works for me.

I'm HOOKED on crochet!

I prefer crochet because it's so easy to "wing it". My creative juices really flow when I pick up a hook, versus picking up the needles.

Maybe if I got better at knitting, I could compare the two better. I've just never gotten good enough at knitting to feel comfortable - it's a chore.

I Love Crochet because:

:) It is much faster than knitting

:) Knitting is boring!

:)I have only 1 hook to use or loose

:) I can finish a project very fast

:) The hook doesn't make a clicking sound like knitting

:lol And I can do it without frustration!!

I love crocheting more than knitting because no matter how hard I tried I just couldn't get used to two needles versus one hook. I just couldn't get the knitting down, and it is so much easier to chain than cast on, and if I make a mistake I can fix it rather easily and no biggie if I miss a stitch can fix that rather easily too, unlike dropping a stitch in knitting.

I like crocheting more than knitting for several reasons:

1. I don't know how to knit and don't care to learn,

2. It looks awkward,

3. It's slower than crocheting (from what I've heard),

4. And there's a larger variety of stitches and projects with crochet.

I like both, but I like crocheting more than knitting because:

*its easier to put down

*no dropped stitches

*faster

*needles sometimes feel awkward

*easier to fix mistakes

*can crochet the ends in

*doesnt curl as much, if at all

*easier to edge

*patterns tend to be more logical to me

I like crocheting more than knitting because I don't know how to knit. :P I don't have the bug to learn either. There's too many crochet projects I want to make that I won't get to in a lifetime so maybe I'll knit in my next life. Then again maybe i'll come back to crochet some more. :crocheting

I like crocheting better than knitting because I like to see progress right away :)

I like crocheting better than knitting because I don't get as frustrated and it is less

stressful for me.

....because I can't knit! Tried, am just awkward. I can manage a few rows of simple knit and purl, but it takes forever. I just love crocheting, and never run out of something I want to do.

that one is easy for me to answer.. I only know how to crochet and I love it!

I haven't had no desire to learn. I am like others.. I have so many patterns that I will never run out of to need to learn knitting! So I will stick w/ the hook and forget about trying the needles! LOL!!!

....because knitting is too noisy! All that needle clicking makes me lose count. :lol

Just kidding, I don't even know how to knit.:P
