Well, boy howdy, I could do that! Or at least a smaller version with what I've got around here. I made a scrapbook paper holder out of storage cubes - 12 'sides' held together with those plastic zippy things? - loved it so much, I made 2. I only have room for one! LOL The other is just sitting there, waiting for me to cut it apart and re-assemble it as yarn storage!

I bought the shelves at bed bath and beyond. I know that you can also order them at walmart, target and kmart (online) four crates come in a box for $14.99. I am so happy this is done and it looks nice!!

That looks great, but I wouldn't have room for the shelves. My yarn is stored in two of the plastic totes like in your before picture and one shelf and one bag. Your system looks very organized and easily accessible. I'm jealous!

If I ever get a dedicated room...I love how you can see at a glance just what you already have. Color selection is not such a back-breaking chore when the stash is out of all those totes..Good job!:cheer:clap:cheer

That arrangement of yarn is fantastic. At this point, I would be glad to have my yarn all in one state. I have to start a purse for a swap, and the yarn I need is in New Jersey, I'm not. If I can tell Mom where it should be she can mail it, but if not...:sigh

I'd love to have my yarn organized that well. Right now I'm trying to use underbed totes and a stack of totes for storage, but it's still a pain.

Wow!! Looks great!! I would love to have my yarn organized like that. For the time being it is in baskets and plastic tubs. Hooks and other gadgets are in a little clear plastic cosmetic type bag and books are just whereever:lol. You did a great job organizing :cheer:clap

I love :manyheart love that, I have been trying to figure out how to organize mine, DH even told me he would buy me a 10 x 10 storage building to put it all in and those would be perfect to organize it all. Thanks so much for sharing your awesome organization with us.:clap:clap:clap
