Baby Gift Sweater

Here is a little sweater I made for a friend of mine's new baby. I used Caron Simply Soft and this pattern http://bellabambinaknits.blogspot.com/2007/04/pullover-sweater-for-babies.html

 

I tweaked the pattern a fair bit. I made the back the front, added a collar for a rugby shirt kind of look, and changed the join to be under one of the arms so I didn't have a line going down the center of the sweater. I also went up a hook size, added one more row on both the sweater and the sleeves and did decreases on the sleeves.

Love it! It is hard to find boy stuff. I think I may try this soon, a coworker just found out he's having a boy and I'm sure there will be a baby shower for him sometime this summer.
