help with hairpin lace square, circles

I have been all over the internet and I just cannot find a pattern for making a square or circle out of hairpin lace. Im trying to make a scarf for a friend and i want to make "flower like things" and im having a heck of a hard time. Can anyone help me.

I have some old books on hairpin lace. I will check through them and see what I have. I will get back to you this weekend. I have a busy day today with little free time. I do hairpin lace and there isn't much on the internet about it. My mom taught me and the books I have some date back to the fifties and into the early seventies. Thank you, I've looked at them all and did not see what I'm looking for, but I have been playing with it all day and I may have figured it out. When I make a presentable one, I will try and post a pic of it.
