Christening dress

Beautiful work. And that thread is exquisite!! I would definitely add booties if you have enough yarn left. Anything else just wouldn't be up to snuff with the outfit!

thanks again everyone, I have been messing around but booties and I do not get along well, I can do a simple bootie but nothing fancy. I was thinking maybe just do a simple bootie and add some v-stitches to it?

I recently made several booties from this site...I had NO problems with the patterns and they are adoreable (see my purple thread booties)

http://www.megan.cc/ There are 3 different booty patterns here, 2 I have made, the seamless one I haven't tried yet. The daisy stitch ones are easier then you think. She has a good video tutorial that was a HUGE help. and the Shell ones were simple enough and I made mine outta thread instead of yarn. They WERE tiny though, but I would assume, if you added another round on the soles of them, you could adjust the pattern easily enough to make them bigger.

http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=76172 Here is the thread for my purple booties so you can see them (although I'm sure yours would look better then mine, this was my first attempt at them in thread)
