Pencil Scarf

I made this scarf, after seeing the knitted version, and decided to make it into a crocheted version for DD's teacher. It will be her end of the year gift, if I can wait 2 more months to give it to her!

 

 

It looks so cute on and if I make another one I will make the "lead/wood" end longer. I used one whole skein of yellow in Caron Simple Soft and bits of the black, tan, gray, and pink. It was really fun to make. ENJOY!

I just talked with the original designer of the pattern and got the OK to write out my crocheted pattern for it, so I'm going to get that up soon on my blog.
