Comfortghans for DCH

Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone would be willing to donate 8" or 12" squares to be made into comfortghans for the Detroit Children's Hospital. They really need all the donations they can get. Color is not really important just as long as they are 8" or 12". I also posted in the charity section asking for chemo caps, but I think this would be more appropriate here. If you think you can help out even if it's only one square, it would be appreciated both by me and by the kids at the hospital. They really need to know there are people out there who care about them! Also, I will keep a running tally of people's names so I can donate them in your name if you'd like!

I found a lot of 12" patterns and compiled a list if anyone's interested. Oh, and I'm also considering taking smaller squares so it'll be easier for people to make and send them...if there's enough interest, i'll edit my post to take any size squares. I'm hoping this will run for many years so I'm sure i'll get enough to make blankets...just post here if that would make you more likely to send squares!

I made the first donation today! I haven't gotten enough squares yet to make blankets, but I was able to bring in 13 hats! You can read more about that on this thread. And if anyone wants to send a hat or square please just pm me!! I'm so excited! lol

I've decided that I'll take either 12" or 8" squares because I think the size of the 12" are putting people off. I'm going to edit my first post with that info.
