very easy tablecloth

I am just now beginning to learn to read instructions even though I have been crocheting for 30 years. (lol) I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a easy tablecloth pattern? Thanks

Ify ou want, you could try a few stitches or maybe choose a square one and use Size 3 thread. I've done some doilies in that using a size F hook (you can use any size hook really, I like the F with Size 3 hook).

No problem. There's a thread called Size 3. Aunt Lydia makes it and I buy it at Walmart. It's fairly thick and cotton. Works up nice. There's also a Speed Cro Sheen thread that's cotton, but I don't find it as nice. There's also a Lustersheen.

These are all thicker threads then size 10. I think even Size 5 (easier to find sometimes) is thicker, but not that much.

Sometimes you have to look for them, but there are a few out there that are one piece.

Would you want a round or oval or square one? I went to CPC and they have some listed with it in the title such as One Piece Oval Tablecloth

and Pineapple Tablecloth (round) which is one piece also... The oval one doesn't look that easy as it's with size 20...

 

If you do use a larger thread and hook you could get away with a large doily or table runner.

This one is round. Don't be intimidated by the pineapples. They are very easy. You could also try filet crochet. It's all double crochet and chains.
