Hopefully I'm fast enough!

WW means worsted weight yarn. In acrylic, you have Red Heart, Patons Canadiana and Bernat (the supersaver) that are all examples of worsted weight.

In cotton, Peaches n Creme and Bernat Handicrafter are a couple of examples.

BTW, Welcome to Crochetville!

I thought of this too ~ ww, worsted weight is consider to be medium weight yarn (#4 on some labels) so if a pattern just says medium yarn or medium weight yarn, you'll know what they mean.
