:yayThis is my first creation. I stuffed the hat but I think it looks better unstuffed. I don't have a pic of that though...

Rnd 2. Ch 3 Dc in same sp, 2 dc around

Rnd 3 ch 3 w dc in next st (1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc) around.

Rnd 4 Ch 3, dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc (dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in next dc) around End of top part of hat.

Rnd 5 working in back loop Ch 3 Dc in each dc around

Rnd 6-9 working in both loops, work even on all dc around. Fasten off red.

Join White

Rnds 10- 12 Work even at end of 12 fasten off white and join red

Repeat rounds 6-9 with red, then repeat round 10-12 with white and repeat 6-9 once more with red. Fasten off red and join white.

In FRONT loops, for this round only, work 2 triple crochet in each stitch around-this starts to form rim.

Last round work 1 triple crochet in next stitch, two triple crochet in next around. Fasten off.

I took a 4 inch plastic canvas circle and cut three rows off of it and place it in the top of the hat.

If you want to make this into a stuffed hat you can work top part of hat with white and sew it into the bottom.

I hope someone likes this, it's the first thing I ever made up myself.
