I am trying a different project. I love watching Knitty Gritty. I have learned so much. So I am trying the knit halter that was just on her show last week. It is made on circular needles. I am so excited about how this is working up. I have realized that your tension is much different using the circular vs regular needles. The hat is just filed away for now. I think that I was jumping just a little to a head of myself. Once I get the tension thing figured out I plan on trying again. Thank you all for your advice with my hat and on using these types of needles in general. It helped a ton.

Good luck!! I keep trying to get it right myself, better at crocheting than knitting, but I go back and keep trying anyway!!

I was liking the halter so much I got it done and started a new one. This pattern is so easy. I will get some pictures and show everyone soon.

Where do we find such pattern? I shouldn't even ask....because I am still only 2 inches into the MagKnits Top LOL

I found it on the diynetwork.com. It is called a knitted halter that was on Knitty Gritty. It really was easy. First 50 rows or so are K2P2 and the rest is st st with decreases on the end. I love it.
