Looking for a baby bubble suit pattern

Cinnaminn

Question

Does anyone know where this pattern came from?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280204354462

I'd like to find a copy of it (to buy) or get the magazine/book it is in if possible. I think it would be a great outfit to make for my dd's 1st baby due in June. *S*

I've sent a msg to the seller on eBay to ask about the pattern but since it's a completed auction, they may not have the pattern any more to tell me anything about it.

TIA!

:hook

Update for 3/10/08: I accidentally "stumbled" across a copy of the magazine at eBay while looking for something else. :lol I just bought the magazine at eBay when I found it listed with a BIN price. :)

That baby bubble suit pattern is from Hooked On Crochet #28 July/August 1991 and it's called "Baby Bubbles" - the blue suit is on the cover of the magazine with the caption of "Summer Baby Bubbles" by it.

HTH for anyone else looking for that particular pattern.

Here's a link to a free pattern - the yellow one that was in the same magazine.

I printed out that pattern and according to what is on the bottom of the page, the "Ducks in a Row" romper set is from Annie's Hooked on Crochet magazine, August 2007, Vol. 25, No. 4, Pages 36-40 & 42.

HTH! :hook

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to add that (if it is the same pattern I am thinking of-all the links are expired so I don't know for sure), it is also in the book "Crochet Private Collection". I had the pattern in a magazine when our oldest son was a baby & wanted to make him one (he is now 20 years old). I never did though. Then a couple years ago, I got this book and saw the pattern in it. :hook If he ever has a baby, I could crochet one for his baby now... Lol

I realize this thread is old but when I was  googling for some help regarding this pattern, I came across your forum!!  :)

I'm trying to make a 12 month old size with the newborn pattern.  I have increased my hook to "K" because I crochet tight.  I tried going by the pattern but the increases make it flair out like a dress and not a romper.  Has anyone made a 12 month old size with the pattern?

Thanks!

Does anyone have this pattern please

I found this pattern: http://danettesangels.tripod.com/patterns/pattern_newborn_romper.html   She is on Ravelry too:  http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/newborn-romper    My friend wanted me to make one a little longer for her grandbaby so I have my notes here: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/crochetneedle/newborn-romper    Hope this helps!
