Hi! I'm new here and haven't even been lurking long. I was taught how to crochet when I was 6ish, but didn't keep it up. Just last year I taught myself how to knit and I really want to become proficient in crochet. I've been amazed at a woman in my stitch 'n bitch group who can crochet blankets so much faster than they could be knit. I also really like the look of crocheted bags.
