My first market bag!

I crocheted this bag today and it went really quick! Bag measures approx. 12" from bottom to top when not filled. Stretches to approx. 24" when filled. Handle measures approx. 19" long. This bag features a pocket that it can be folded into so you can just throw it into your regular handbag and go. When folded down into the pocket, it measures approx. 4" x 6".

Thanks for all the compliments everyone! The yarn I used was caron simply soft in Limelight (i think that's the name) and I used a K hook. I'm trying to decrease my yarn stash and this used up just a little less than one skein!

Oh you have to do the pattern then! I was thinking these would make great gifts and if it only uses that little of yarn, that quick, this would be the perfect item to make!

Great bag ... it's hard to find traditional string bags nowadays ... and when you make your own you can be imaginative with colour, as you have been.
