Thanks everyone! I can't take credit for the color choice because that is what the original pattern was in. I do love it though and that is why I bought the book in the first place.

I got a little frustrated with it too at first but then I got the hang of it. You should give it another go! Once you get into it, it works up pretty quickly.

Your afghan looks amazing. I played a little with that pattern and am currently making it into a scarf.

I just bought Afghans by the pound on ebay for 3.99 ...I'm so excited and cant wait to make this afghan its so beautiful!..I did not find too many on ebay but here is some that they have at auction now...good luck!
