Its not realy that hard. I would definately invest in one of the loom knitting pattern/instruction books, and/or internet patterns and instructions. I have made about 12 hats, 8 or so small purses, and a memory blanket. I love the homespun and the baby boucle yarns. You dont have to hold 2 strands as one, and they are soft and snuggly, especially for baby hats.
