sock monkey hat/sock monkey grannie squares

Does anyone have the pattern for making hats with a sock monkey on them? I've seen a set that was a hat for a child with a matching grannie square blanket. I'm starting to make chemo caps for patients at MD Anderson and want to do something cool, not just the basic hat. Thanks, Laura

The pattern is in the Stitch n Bitch Happy Hooker Book. I have the yarn to make them right now, but haven't got around to it yet!!

You can probably find this book at your library. Or, you can make this bookmark (without the tail) and use it as an applique on a basic beanie done in the colors as the one in the book.
