Thanks! I definitely recommend giving it a go. I'm now in the process of working up another of the scarf patterns, and I am finding that it is much easier for me than the first one was. Now that I understand the general technique for doing the double-sided cables, they really just whip along, and get so many complements. In fact, I was working on the most recent one on an airplane a few days ago, and the flight attendant told me that she really was only a knitter, but that the pattern was making her want to take up crochet.
