I'm so excited I finished the 3D swan doily! Its been a WIM for waaay to long!

 

 

 

its in the blocking process currently! but i was too excited not to post pics!

i made it with what is called 'knitting cotton thread' here in India but i think it corresponds with a size 10 and a tiny steel hook. the pattern is free, at http://megan.kiwi.gen.nz/Swan/ (i found the link in the 'ville)

That pattern has been on my "wonderful" list for a long time but it really needs thread so I can't do it. This makes it even more special for me to see your version of this.
