It is easy. You just do double crochet stitches, chains, and single crochet.

Looks great! I made myself one in brown right after the pattern came out, and am currently making one in black. My DD is asking for one in purple. I love it... it's like being wrapped in an afghan all day! Nice and cozy!

wow, i wanted to make this, have the pattern from lionbrand, but after i saw all the foot notes I thought it was too difficult. I even bought the same color yarn!
