"Charmed" Shoulderbag

Just finished this shoulderbag for my DIL. Name of the purse is "Charmed" designed by Mona Modica. It's made with Omega La Espiga Nylon #18 and only used up a roll of Sandstone and a roll of Black.

 

Needs to be lined but already have the canvas bottom sewed in.

The fringe is made as you go along...well, not really the fringe. You actually work a loop stitch and then once everything is done you cut in half and MUST dab the ends with fraycheck so the ends don't unravel. One of the cons of nylon. I actually dabbed the ends for about an inch from the end then when dried I cut so that it all evened out.

I do love it. It's my third bag. My daughter already put in a request for the same type of bag with some changes (wider and no fringe). Luckily I have enough yarn to work with. Once those are gone i'll need to go on another shopping spree. And yes, Mona is a great. Orders are put through immediately and she's very helpful if there are any problems.
