Have I Goofed???

I have felted a purse about a week ago. I put it thru twice. Can I do it again even after a week? I was wondering why my bag didn't turn out very fuzzy? I used dish detergent and gym shoes in the wash.

What yarn did you use? Did you do a test swatch?

 

You can try to full it again by putting it through -- I know when I full anything it usually takes 4-5 times through the agitate cycle on my washer (I let it run through agitate, then I check it and if it's not fulled to where I want it, I run it through agitate again).
