This is a simple beanie I made out of some grey and black yarn in my stash. I made it for a French girl who stayed with us as an exchange student a few years back. It looked a bit dull so I added a pin on Poppy. We used to laugh as she said all French woman wear blacks.

I am feeling pretty pleased with my self, not that I made the beanie as I finished this before Christmas. The real achievement was sitting down and writing her a letter and actually mailing it off today. Sad but true. Because she was here to learn English I thought a nice handwritten letter was the way to go.
