looking for picture of "Snowflakes" Afghan

Scenna

Question

My friend volunteers at a donation place and acquired a bag of yarn for me .

It was an afghan kit by Herrschners for item 20-3177 Snowflakes afghan. it has 12 skeins white 2 ply yarn and instructions, but there is no picture of the afghan included . I was wondering if any one had done this pattern or seen a picture of it . (I'm lazy I don't know if I want to do the pattern until I've seen it first, and I don't want to start working it up and find I don't like it only to frog it lol)

I've looked at herrschners website with no luck. it looks to be an older pattern.

Thanks for the link Tangled, but I don't think that is it since the one I have is done all in white, AuntyM I have already emailed the company and waiting on a response. but it looks like I'm just going to have to work the pattern up to find out lol. I guess it will be like doing a puzzle ( or as one movie said it " like a box of chocolates , never know what your gonna get" ;) ) Thanks for your help!!! :)

I remember that afghan from YEARS ago! At the time, I really wanted to make it but didn't have the money. I kept the catalog for a long time, wishfully looking at it occasionally. Eventually, I found a similar pattern that wasn't in a kit and lost interest in the Herrscheners one.

A couple of years ago, I tried organizing my patterns, etc. and I might have finally thrown it away. However, I'm notorious for saving stuff!! I will look for it...keep your fingers crossed.

I saw these yesterday while I was cruising around the net, There is an all white snowflake afghan....it may not be the exact pattern you have, but it can give you an idea of what an all white snowflake afghan would look like!

maybe one of these? If not, you could crochet just a little to see if you like the way it is turning out. Think of it as a "mystery project" :)

Sorry I can't be more help.

But still won't know for sure until I get off my duff and get it going..

but first gonna make myself finish my other WIP's !!! I will let everyone know how it turns out when I finally get it done .

hmm a duplicating machine would be nice about now one me for a seraphina shawl, one me for the red doily, one me for a flying pig, one me for a snowflakes Afghan, and one me for a promised Sqiud hat.

Due to copyright laws, copies of the pattern cannot be shared through Crochetville without permission from Herrschnerr's.

If anybody has this pattern, please send me a PM. I'll be happy to contact Herrschnerr's to see if we can get permission to post the pattern here. Since it seems like they aren't currently selling the kit, perhaps they would give us permission to host the pattern here.

I'm going to close this thread for now, but will reopen it if we're able to get permission to host the pattern.
