Filet crochet name pattern help!!!

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make up a pattern for a last name in filet crochet! I would really appreciate if someone here will be willing to help me out in this predicament. I used this site when I made a table runner using my maiden name for my mom for Christmas. Of course it doesn't come with any directions like the # of chains to begin with, but if you can get that figured out on your own, then this works well.
