Mickey Mouse blanket

PinkStitches

Recommended Posts

I made this Mickey Mouse blanket for my future sister in law (who LOVES Disney, and especially Mickey).

The body of the blanket probably took me the longest. I really am bad about counting, and for this one I had to keep track of all the stitches. (I literally had a piece of paper with me that I would count the rows on).

Before it was outlined:

After it was outlined:

Amazingly enough the cross stitching only took me about a week. I had never done it before so I was nervous at first.

Anyway, we gave the blanket to his sister and she loved it!

Very Nice. Great Job:cheer

I have that pattern, but I haven't made it yet.

I was talking to the lady who gave me the Leisure Arts booklet containing this pattern, and she said that if I have more time I should make two of those blankets and join them to make a bigger blanket. IE Mickey and Minnie, and just change her dress color to match Mickey.

great work. it musta took a long time.

The body of it was the part that took the longest. Actually, just the white center part was the hardest. The edging went a lot quicker (mostly because I didn't really have to count it, just follow the pattern).
