Hairpin Lace

Does anyone have a handle on how to do this?

 

I have a really nice pattern for a hairpin lace shawl that I would like to try for the January Charity Blitz....but to be quite honest, I am scared of getting myself tied up in it.

it is really quite easy to do. check out the various tutorials online and you will be fine.

What pattern are you using? I love hair pin crochet. It really is easier than you think. If you go to cpc, they have lots on links to instructions under hair pin lace.

There is a pattern in the new Crochet Pattern a Day calendar that I have my eye one. Haven't attempted it yet.
