"snowflake mondays" a past post i had seen UPDATE WEEK #4

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I hope you don't mind.... but I need to brag (just a little :lol)!

Guess what? I'm caught up again!

:woo:jumpyay:woo:jumpyay:woo:jumpyay

I'll be getting the blocking board out later today and with a little cooperation from the household - like that's ever happened :rofl -

I might have them finished by tomorrow. :)

I do have a note or two on some of the directions. Nothing major, but I'll post them after I get these pinned.

Happy crocheting,

:mdust:mdust:mdust Cosmo :mdust:mdust:mdust

PS. sign me "happy to be here!" Thanks Wanda! You're 2 sweet!

Glad to see you about Cosmo, I knew nothing could keep a good fairy down :yes

:mdustWanda:mdust

PS: I can't wait for your (properly scaled to official size :devil) :flake show :D that will really light the fire under me (:fire Oh no! :flakes melting :2magic...:snow...WHEW! That was a close one...)

I have been watching this thread and have been looking at the past links.

Just wondering if some of you are running into the following issue as me....

The links are coming up with "error" notices

I am trying to make different snow flakes to accompany a traveling scarf group I am in at my LYS

Thanks for any info you can share :hug

Thanks Kelly, I haven't checked the list for a while. You're right! There are 15 pages that won't load. It may be that some of the pages have been moved around a little. Some that really should be there aren't.

I'll spend some time this evening looking around for the new correct addresses.

Thanks for letting us know,

:mdust:mdust:mdust Cosmo :mdust:mdust:mdust

I'll have a look, too, and a quick check to make sure we've been quoting rather than cut and pasting...

Thanks, Kelly :D

OK, here is the list, these should work.

It looks like the issue is that the list got copied and pasted rather than quoted and edited. This causes the URLs to copy in truncated format, which then brings up an error message.

I was trying to be as inconspicuous (sp) as possible about not being so diligent about finding snowflake links. I have been working on a ghan for my step-nephew and looked through some of my books for ideas and found some snowflakes and put them aside to do. But as for online freebie links.. no I haven't looked. Sorry. :(

Thank you for fixing the links, I will have to look at each of them

I did not see this as a link for a future on

http://www.crochetmemories.com/archive/Snowflake.html

Here is another link with quite a few different patterns

Thanks Kelly! Nice patterns. I especially like the first one and it seems appropriate for this week. I was at Cylinda's web site more than once this past week. I never thought to check the free patterns there though. :hook

I'd like us to use the crochetmemories.com pattern for this week. And, I'd like to add the customer service there is fantastic! I was looking for a small birthday gift for a ville friend so I sent emails to several pay pattern sites asking if they had gift certificates. Cylinda sent me a note and did a great job filling the order even though she doesn't do gift certificates! Oh yea, she has some great patterns there too! :D

Warmest regards, :fire,

Sounds like a plan, Cosmo.

Thanks for the input, Kelly, always great to have someone else on board, Kelly.

No need to hide, Carla, if we all had a snowflake every week we'd start getting into brawls over whose to use :box and that would just get ugly :D...

Hi Everyone,

I'm not having a good day! In fact the whole week has been a rough one. The only high spot I've seen is getting caught up on the flakes. :)

Here they are:

Now, I'm going to TRY to be good. Right after I play one more game of "fire ball" on the freeway, without wearing my sunscreen. :lol

Thanks Leanne for the great links!

And Carla, I don't think I've seen you since the games were over. I've been waiting to say, "Congratulations on your gold medal and on the prize!" Thanks too for all the cheering! (Sven was a nice touch-- he has a nice touch too!!! :D).

warmest regards :fire ,

:hi All. I have been chatting up a storm on the Sky thread. I've been working on a 'ghan for my step nephew.

I don't want you to think that I've been sitting and spinning or hiding behind the couch :D
