ear cover for ME

I never make stuff for me, but I decided I needed something to cover my ears when we go play in the snow. I have long hair, so hats don't work very well. I whipped this up in about an hour. I used two strands of some scrap worsted yarn I had. Next time I will do it a bit different, but it works pretty well.

it is just sc in the back loops

I think I used an I hook and to strands of yarn and started out with 5 st per row, and increased every other row till I had 11 st per row. I measured it on my head as I went and then after the wide part was long enough to cover both my ears, I dec it back down to 5 st per row. sc in the back loops. Next time, I would make it a little bit wider and not quite so long, I would like it to fit a bit tighter, but it works quite nicely. I wore it out in the snow for an hour this morning and it worked great.

Very Pretty. I have made ones with a tie at the back of the neck, but I don't like the bump there. Saw a pattern somewhere that the woman had used two buttons to close, so you could adjust when it stretches. I have not tried it yet.
