Hello from NY

Hi! I live in upstate NY, near Buffalo, and have been crocheting off and on for the past 40 years or so. I'm married 39 years, mom to a son and a daughter and a son-in-law, and grandma to a little girl who is almost 4. I crochet with both yarn and thread, it's hard to say which I enjoy the most, and one of my goals for this coming year is to learn how to tat. My current WIPs include a prayer shawl, and a fleece baby blanket that I'm doing a border around. I've signed up for the class here for the pineapple shawl and am looking forward to doing that. I'm happy to be a part of this group, everyone seems so wonderfully talented and helpful. Merry Christmas to all! Karen

Hello from WAY down state...the part that isn't attached to the mainland! Spent a lot of time upstate this fall watching FootballSon play, but the closest I got to Buffalo was Rochester.
